The meeting, co-chaired by Jalil Melikov, Deputy Chief of Staff and Head of the International Relations Department of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was attended by the Executive Director of Azerbaijan Hotel Association, Esmer Shabanova, as well as representatives of other specialized tourism organizations from Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in tourism, while also exploring opportunities for joint cooperation within international organizations.
Particular attention was given to enhancing cooperation between public and private sector stakeholders, as well as expanding collaboration in regional tourism development, cultural heritage management, and joint marketing initiatives.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a protocol on tourism cooperation between the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, further reinforcing the strategic tourism partnership between the two countries.
